Drawing and ARt of any kind have always been part of who I am. As a young child, I got in trouble for coloring murals on my bedroom walls (after I had been reprimanded for drawing on the back of the kitchen door). Art class was always an essential part of each school year. And I relished including my love of animals and the outdoors in my artistic endeavors.
Current projects include illustrating our working Choctaw heritage stories and an historical children's book about our own beloved pet, "Princess Maddie Kat Corndog Cowgirl"... as well as researching and creating new native American artwork. Check out my page above "Choctaw Pony Artworks" which highlights my current original paintings and custom pet portraits. I live with my wonderful husband on three glorious acres in southern Texas. Making art, illustrating children's literature and my own Native American heritage are fundamental pieces of my life's passion for Art!
